of a good and merciful God
who I came to know in the late afternoon of January 8th, 2024, where He came and met me in a life of darkness, loneliness/isolation, and a soul-sucking opioid + amphetamine addiction…
and brought me
into the light.
This is me, sober, only 4 months after I surrendered to Jesus Christ while alone in my room and threw away all my drugs. My physical & mental health was miraculously restored & healed in a matter of 3 days. I was given freedom, child-like joy, an unshakeable peace, and a deep love for people / strangers - despite years of isolating myself.
This was me, high and addicted to drugs for 7 years. I was severely underweight, and would stay up until 3-4am every night. I picked apart and rejected Christianity. I was depressed, withdrawn from friends & family and spending all my evenings / weekends alone for years. I was pessimistic, extremely paranoid and suffering from OCD and social anxiety.
John 8:32
“And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
I walked hand-in-hand with darkness for years. Society told me I could save myself, the universe could save me, PEOPLE could save me. I believed all of it.
The world told me to deny Christ… so I did. And the same God I denied for years… was the one I finally called on at my lowest, weakest moment.
I called on the name of Jesus.
No person or church forced my hand. It was HIM who met me at my darkest point and transformed my heart and life forever.
I am here only by the merciful grace of God.
